CHILDREN UNIVERSITY

Designed as a science and technology center, the children’s university is built entirely out of wood and aims to teach children in the fields of space, aviation, technology, nature, physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, geometry, art, design and personal development through interactive games. In this area, which includes examples from life and designed by a teaching based on learning by touching, support programs to school are aimed for children at an early age, as well as personal development.

EXHIBITS

SUN CLOCK

In this setup, the working principle of the sundial, which is a method used to measure time in ancient times, is explained. In the assembly, there is a bar that provides shading and a light source that acts as the sun, positioned right in the middle. When the visitor presses the button, the light source, namely the sun, will burn and the shadow of the middle bar will appear on the opposite hemisphere. From the height of this shadow, the time of the day will be determined. In order to observe that the sun shows different hours, the sun, that is, the light source, can be moving.

ASTRONAUT COSTUME

In this area, a 1/1 scale model of the astronaut costume, which is the outfit worn during space travels, is exhibited. In this area, which gives the opportunity to observe the astronaut costume closely, the visitors are also provided with information about the materials used in the costume and the strength of these materials from the information panel.

GROWING PLANTS IN SPACE

This setup is designed to describe how to grow plants in space in tight spaces and without soil.

WIND TUNNEL

In this arrangement, the visitor; By positioning wing models with the same materials but different designs, in the section between the double-sided air blowing motors and where air flow occurs, they observe the differences in adhesion and breakage of the air.

FLIGHT SIMULATOR

The interactivity in the setup is prepared with modern game engine technologies (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.) or modern flight simulation games (Prepar3d, FSX, X-plane, etc.) in order to maximize the realism and strikingness in the simulation. Visitors can diversify their flight options via a touch screen for a wealth of experience.

DESIGN YOUR SPACE CAR

In this setup in the field of aviation and space exploration, the visitor; He can design his own spacecraft by combining the pieces on the table as he wishes.

PROGRAMMING ART

This setup is designed to introduce visitors to a few basic principles of computer programming. The visitor will select what he wants from the blocks on the left, expressing different parameters in the setup, and put it in front of the screen. These blocks; will express the height, color, number of rounds and the number of repetitions, and adjustments can be made with the rotating buttons. After the blocks are placed, a pattern will be drawn on the screen when the start button is pressed.

WHEEL SYSTEMS

There will be a bell in the upper right and left corners of the wall-mounted assembly. The gear wheel will be fixed under this bell. The bell above will ring when the wheel system, which is maintained on the magnetic wall below this fixed wheel, is rotated. Thus, the user will observe the power transfer from one point to another with mechanical energy.

POWER STRENGHT BRIDGE

Strong bridge formation and construction between each other will be observed by using different connection equipment in the setup. The mechanism consisting of 2 separate sections can be used by 2 different agriculturalists.

PERIODIC TABLE AND ATOM

In this setup, the visitor will be able to observe the elements on the periodic table on the screen and learn the compositions formed by combining the elements. E.g; When he combines H and O, he will see that H2O is formed.

CARBON MODELS

In this setup, hydrocarbon gas liquids (such as ethane, butane, propane, detergents, etc.) will be created by combining 2 different unit atomic models representing carbon and hydrogen on the table according to the formulas in the menu, so that visitors can observe the molecular structures of the compounds obtained.

EULERS LINE

In this device, which is designed to be mounted on the wall, it is aimed for the visitors to create various objects and patterns by using magnetic figures of different shapes and sizes. Tangram; It is a creative intelligence game based on creating various forms by bringing together seven pieces of geometric shapes made of stone, bone, plastic or wood.

ROBOT PRODUCTION

The device describes the use of solar energy as electrical energy. The lighting, which acts as the sun, works when the button is pressed. Devices such as radio, propeller and helicopter, which are located under this lighting and have solar panels, start to work when the lighting is turned on. Thus, the visitor can observe how solar energy is converted to electrical energy and then to the necessary energy (mechanical, sound..).

ROBOT REVOLUTION 2

Today, robots allow us to do many things. How about observing which Robot hand grasps which object more comfortably? Choose an object and the robot will extend it to the hand, which hand will be able to hold which objects more comfortably.

3D TABEL / PIKSEL

This device is to obtain 3D shapes on the table. It consists of pins placed for Visitors will be able to observe the shape of this object on the pins by placing the objects they wish on these tables and applying light pressure. Each pin represents a pixel element.

STEAM WORKING SPACE

This mechanism is designed to shoot between staggered obstacles, with the setups created, and allows observing how these shots are made. Catapult mechanism is ready to facilitate the use of visitors. It allows visitors to observe movement changes by making changes in anchor points and slope.

SOCIAL ROBOT

In this setup, visitors will design a robot using their imagination with battery cube, motion cube, programming cubes, sensor cubes, and then program it. They will realize how many robot possibilities they will create with cubes, that is, with fixed parameters.

BIKE WITH GENERATOR

The mechanism enables the mechanical energy to be converted into electrical energy. The mechanical energy consumed by turning the 2 bicycle pedals is converted into electrical energy by the dynamo in the mechanism and the lights are observed to turn on level by level in proportion to the consumed power.

ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT

In this arrangement, electrical elements such as different types of resistors, lamps, and light sensors will be included. By using different energy sources (battery, solar, mechanical arm, etc.), visitors will set up simple electrical circuits in which they can operate elements such as lamps, sound propellers.

IMMUNE SYSTEM

In this regulation, visitors will be able to acquire information interactively with the immune system by playing mutual games on the screen.

HEART BEAT

In this mechanism, our heart is under a certain pressure in every beat. It pumps blood. The pressure-sensing sensor on our device, when we put our hand on it, senses the pressure in the veins in our hands and transmits it to the drum beater, and it is observed that the hammer hits the drum and makes a sound like a heartbeat.

BRAHMA TOWERS

In the setup, you have to place a deck of five discs on top of another stabilizer following two rules, move one disc at a time, and not place a larger disc on top of a smaller disc. It will observe solving the puzzle in a minimum number of moves.

There is a magnifying glass fixed in one corner of the round table where 10 different insect species are placed in plexiglass boxes. By rotating the table, each insect passing under the magnifying glass can be observed separately.

UNDER GROUND

In this setup where the interactive projection is projected onto the wall; aims to provide a more comfortable understanding of the data on the underground. The lives of underground creatures (6 animals such as rabbits, moles, snakes, ants, etc.) will be explained interactively through animations. It is aimed to interactively implement the mechanism of the life of animals made of wood on the right.

LIVE PLANT PANEL

In this area, the visitor will be able to observe how pots and plants of different sizes and live plants are grown on the assembly.

LIGHT DIRECTION

Laser light shows wave properties like sound. This allows sound waves and laser waves to be converted into each other. When the waves transmitted through the laser are dropped on the receivers, they are converted back into sound waves. Thus, the sound is transmitted. This message; It is ensured that the laser beam emanating from the first source is reduced to the target point by moving the movable mirrors on the device by the visitor. Thanks to the sensor at the target point, the laser beam is converted back into sound.

PLASMA ENERGY

When the plasmas in the device are operated, the gas inside is electromagnetically excited and random radiations occur in the colors determined according to the gas mixture. Touch the glass ball while the device is running. Observe what happens. While the device is in operation, a fluorescent lamp will be observed not touching or touching the globe.

It is an experimental setup that shows the conductivity of the human body. In this setup, pyramid-shaped units are placed on the table. It is aimed for the visitor to build two pyramids from these units, one twice as long as the other. Then, the volumes of these two pyramids will be compared and two more pyramids with twice the volumes will be built.

In the setup, it is aimed for the visitor to calculate and find the mass of an object whose mass is unknown with a set of known masses (50 g, 150 g, 450 g and 1350 g) using a new counting system.

KG3 TEAM PLAY

Collaboration strengthens solidarity. In this setup; The aim of the game is to stack wooden blocks or knock down the tower. It needs to be placed in the middle of the blocks. Everyone holds the rope and stretches the rope cord so the bracket is guided. To dig, the bracket must be hung on the nut, raised and inserted. Everything with combined power! You have to watch what others are doing.

FUN WALL

Users will complete the puzzle by rotating the moving pieces on the wall, which is built from pieces that can be rotated and consisting of different patterns on three sides.
